Ms Edina Suto is a HCPC and BPS registered Counselling Psychologist in the UK and a Certified Psychologist in Hungary. She completed a combined bachelor’s and master’s degree programme in general psychology from the University of Pecs, Hungary. After five years of demonstrated professional experience in Ireland, Hungary and in the UK she became a Counselling psychologist in the UK via experience-based independent route which is equivalent with the doctoral training in the UK. 

In the last 13 years, she worked both with adults and children, in a broad range of settings including schools, University, adult IAPT NHS and child CYP-IAPT services, private and for-profit companies. She worked with complex presentations and groups presenting self-esteem, confidence, issues about cultural differences, anxiety, panic, depression, relationship issues, trauma and work-related or performance management people issues across all stages of development.

She is using approaches of psychodynamic, systemic, person-centred, cross-cultural, and also cognitive behavioural therapy techniques to focus on learning, problem-solving and behavioural change. 

She considers contextual perspectives very important in personal development. She brings cultural, social, historical, environmental perspectives into the sessions, if needed, to connect the dots between generations and to understand motives and the bigger picture.
